*First Impression/Demo* Maybelline Lash Sensational + HyperSharp Wing Eyeliner

Hi!

Today I am bringing to you my first "First Impression" video featuring Maybelline's newest mascara and eyeliner, Lash Sansational Mascara and HyperSharp Wing Eyeliner.

This is my first attempt of one of those first impression/demo video so I hope I did okay.　Like I say in the video, I usually like to use products for a little while to test them well, but sometimes it is useful and interesting to see what people think/feel when they try new things, thus the first impression, of course! And when you are a beauty junky like I am, sometimes the first impression is the only impression!!
Haha, not really. I usually try to like products even if they kinda suck in the first go.
(Although I have a few products that I completely hated the moment I used it and never touched again. It is very rare that it happens with me because I don't buy things when I am not positive that I will like it as I dont' want to waste products or my money, so it usually happens with gifted items or samples.)

So you will probably see the final verdict on those products in one of my Hits and Misses videos, I think. :)

So let's see what I thought about the mascara and eyeliner!

Ok, so these are the closeup photos of the products.

Weirdly shaped brush, which I call Black Spikey Banana.

As you can see in the photo above, the spike length is different on each side. But none of the spikes are particularly long. The curve is not very strong either.

HyperSharp Wing Eyeliner

My poor bare lashes.

They are naturally curled up but
they need volume and length.

After one coat of Lash Sensational.

I can see more volume but not so much length.

As you see on the outer corner,
they are quite wet and clumps the lashes together.

The formula is not too shiney or matte. Very natural finish.

HyperSharp Eyeliner(Top 3 is thick, bottom 3 is thin)

THE BATTLE OF BRUSH CLEANER!!

Hi!

I have been away for a little while because I was moving into a new place, was travelling and got sick! So much happned while I was away...

Anyways, I am back with a video called "The battle of brush cleaner".

In this video, I'm comparing three different soap/detergent which can be used to clean your makeup brushes, DOVE Beauty Bar, Sunlight Soap and DAISO Brush Cleaner.
They are quite common products you would find in shops (maybe except for DAISO one but you can get ones from other brand).
Let's see which works the best!

So, the winner was pure soap (Sunlight or Velvet)!! Any pure soap sold in laundry detergent area would be fine. I would not use the ones made for your body and face because it can contain moisturizing ingredients and it is not necesary to clean your brushes and it can make the soap clean less efficiently.

Prominent Eyes Technique on Asian (Monolid) Eyes

Hi, all! It's time for a tutorial! WOOHOO!

This time, I m doing a tutorial that people ask me how to do,
"Prominent Eyes Technique on Asian Eyes".

As eye shapes play major roles in makeup applications, there are many different ways to apply eye makeup, and I have certain ways I like to do my eye makeup, which is not really this one.

Don't get me wrong, I still like to do this sometimes, but as I say in the video, this technique was not made to enhance the appearance of the Asian eyes.
So I would not say that it is the best way to make your eyes look bigger and more attractive. (A lot of people in Asia want to make their eyes look bigger.)

Having said that, a makeup is just a makeup. You are free to do whatever you want. There is no rules and even if there is a rule (or more like a trend), it changes all the time.

So I hope you enjoy this video.
You can enjoy seeing how it's done on Asian eyes and how different it looks on them.
You can enjoy seeing how to do what you've always wanted.
