I really appreciate that you took your time to watch my videos today because they are long, even when I split them into two videos.
I hope you liked it.
Hope you have a great weekend!
I had a great deal at Priceline the other day! An AWESOME deal!
If you live outside of Australia, or under the rock, Priceline is a national chain of drugstore/chemist in Australia.
And Priceline often has huge sales like 40% OFF of makeup, skincare or haircare items and goodie bags(which I am super excited to share today!).
I am NOT sponcered by Priceline, but Priceline is my favorite destination of shopping because it is a great place to try and buy makeup and their sales can be WOW from time to time.
I have to say, though, the customer service can vary awesome to crap, don't expect "sephora-type-of-makeup-expert" service here.
One of the great deals with Priceline is goodie bags.
I have seen these in the past, and I have bought some in the past.
Several years ago, the makeup edition of the goodie bag I got was awesome! Had a lot of full size products and variety of products. The bag was pretty bad, but I didn't care. I got to try different makeup items for free! I still have some of the items I have got from the bag in my collection.
Since then, I have been watching what they bring out every once in a while as goodie bags and I have to say that I had been pretty disappointed in the last few years.
They stuff a little makeup bag with some lipglosses and some sample sized products. And that was it. It seriously was not worth spending $69 or how much ever they say we had to spend to get it.
Then, I saw this big bag advertised. I was super excited!
THE BIG BAG FULL OF PRODUCTS IS BACK!!!!!
I screamed to myself inside.
After looking at what could be in the bag, I knew, I had to try. I had to get it!
Not only it had some of my all-time-favorite products, but there were some things I always wanted to try and I conveniently was about to run out of the face oil and I needed to get something.
So let's see what I got from Priceline!!
Here are some details of the contents of the goodie bag.
(This product was not mentioned on the back of the description of the goodie bag at all. I assume they just swapped the products?)
Goodness Chia Seed Oil (Full Size)
Biore Blemish Clearing Scrub (Almost Full Size)
What I mean by "Almost Full Size" is that this product contains 127ml, but the product you can buy has 130ml. I think they changed the packaging or something thus the different contents.
Cetaphil Wipes (Full Size)
I assume this is full size again but it does not say how many wipes are in the pack.
Today's video is another DIY video which I hadn't done in a while.
The last one was from Halloween (you can see the post and video here).
This time, I will be sharing my simple yet effective recipe for coffee body scrub!
The coffee scrub has been in the market for a while now and it's basically all the same: ground coffee beans + some goodies like essential oils.
Probably the most popular coffee scrub brand is Frank and now even Sportsgirl makes its own coffee scrub!
But it's basically just ground coffee beans after all, right?
I can't help myself thinking that it's just a mixture of some oil and coffee beans, which you get after enjoying your coffee for free (well you pay for coffee beans but you would toss it away after drinking coffee so basically free).
Ok, so you can make similar stuff for free/cheap, instead of paying so much for fancy packaging, because frankly (pun? HA!) they are pretty expensive if you want to buy the branded one.
I make coffee almost everyday. I start it from grinding beans so I get the ingredients all the time.
So I decided to look up some recipes and I made little changes and I have settled for this recipe.
I have been using the same recipe for almost 6 months and I love it so much that I don't need to make any changes.
It's so simple and so easy, yet very effective so I hope you love this one too!
Ingredients:
3 tbsp (extra virgin) coconut oil
1.5 tbsp natural sea salt
1/2 cup ground coffee (grind to the size of your liking)
Adding your favorite essential oils are optional, but I like the original coconut/coffee smell.
You just mix it.
Super easy, right? I know.
Like I said in the video, there are a few things you need to be careful with this scrub:
1. They can be pretty course, so don't scrub too hard! Always gently massage.
2. It can make a mess in your shower.
And this is an additional point.
3. It never happened with me, but in some areas and buildings, blockage of the drain might be an issue. Considering all the other scrub being so successful, I think it is something to worry though.
I hope you liked it!
And have a wonderful weekend!
Happy New Year!!!!!
It's been almost a month already, but what the hey, I'm saying it anyway because New Year's Day is a bigger deal to most of us, Japanese, than Christmas!
As new year starts, you are supposed to renew yourself in so many ways and improve your life so that you are better, healthier, happier and more successful! What a great spirit!
Alright, let's get to the video.
As the title says, it is a HUGE empties video.
I am sharing so much of my opinion about those things I finished in the last 3 months.
It is a long video so I recommend pouring a cup of tea and sitting on a very comfortable cushion to watch this!
